With the new year comes the opportunity to start afresh in your home by introducing new habits and systems to keep your space tidy and organised. In this blog, we’ll be sharing some simple tips that will help you get your home organised in 2025.

Keeping the Kitchen Organised

Whilst our beautifully designed kitchens provide lots of worktop and cupboard space, we know just how important it is to make use of all the space in the kitchen, so storage is key. Some simple storage solutions, like tiered racks for holding spice jars and cans, help keep cupboards tidy and items within easy reach when cooking.

The fridge is another spot in the kitchen that can be enhanced with storage. Use clear trays and boxes to sort food into categories, which will make it easier to keep clean and stay on top of use-by dates.

To make the most of the space for pots and pans, use cookware organisers that will allow you to stack them tidily in a drawer or cupboard. These will also keep lids stored securely.

Children’s Bedroom Organisation Tips

The key to keeping children’s bedrooms tidy is having decent storage. Cute toy boxes and bags are good for quick tidy-ups and can often be found in many design options to fit the aesthetic and theme of the room.

Utilising the space under the bed is another good spot to keep toys. As for arts and crafts, consider investing in a small trolley that can hold crafting supplies and be moved easily around the home.

How to Keep Your Clothes Organised

The new year offers the perfect opportunity to sort through your old and unwanted clothes to donate, give away, or sell. Use drawer dividers or organisers to keep drawers tidy and sorted into categories. You can go a step further by taking inspiration from influencers on Instagram and TikTok to discover the best way to fold different items of clothing to really make the most of your space.

In the wardrobe, avoid using bulky hangers, and instead opt for slimline hangers. Try to categorise your clothes either by colour or item type.

By introducing some simple storage and organisation solutions into your home, you’ll be able to utilise the space and keep clutter to a minimum.
