The curriculum is broad and challenging, with a focus on developing key skills, in its latest Ofsted inspection Chilwell received a Good report.

Risley Lower Grammar CE (VC) Primary School is a Primary, Co-Ed, Church of England school located in Derbyshire, East Midlands. It has 130 students from age 5-11 yrs with a student-teacher ratio of 21:1. They serve families from Risley, Sandiacre and the surrounding area offering a varied curriculum. Risley School had a full inspection in March 2023 and we were graded as Good in all areas.

Erewash Valley is a members owned club run for the members by the members.

Nottingham Natural History Museum

Since opening in 1926, Wollaton Hall has been home to Nottingham’s Natural History Museum. With a collection of 750,000 objects, ranging from fossils, minerals, plants and eggs to invertebrates, vertebrates, shells (molluscs) and taxidermy, as well as preserved ‘spirit’ animals and rare specimens from across the globe, Wollaton is the largest dedicated Natural History museum in the county.
 

Elvaston Castle County Park

Located in Derbyshire, Elvaston Castle Country Park encompasses approximately 321 acres of open parkland, woodland and more formal historical gardens. The gardens are locally renowned for their rockwork structures and fine examples of topiary, originally introduced and designed by William Barron in the 19th century. Whatever the season there's always lots to see and do in and around the park - walking, cycling, horse riding, bird watching, picnicking, kite flying, photography, exploring the park and nature reserve and much more.
