Our children's behaviour reflects their engagement with our diverse curriculum and they all support our values of Respect, Enjoyment, Achievement, Challenge and Health. Dovedale Primary School received a Good Ofted report overall and in Personal Development received Outstanding.

Harrington Junior school caters for girls and boys from 7 to 11 years of age (academic years 3-6) and the number of students currently attending the school is approximately 240 students, with a maximum of 31 pupils per class. Harrington Junior school received a Good report from Ofsted

Erewash Valley Golf Club

Erewash Valley is a superbly manicured championship golf course with wonderful tree lined fairways, enchanting views and numerous water hazards, it represents an exciting challenge, whatever your level of expertise. Set in 165 acres of prime parkland, this charming and delightful course endowed with character and featuring the world renowned 'Quarry Holes' is a golfing experience not to be missed. Erewash Valley is a members owned club run for the members by the members.

Nottingham Natural History Museum

Since opening in 1926, Wollaton Hall has been home to Nottingham’s Natural History Museum. With a collection of 750,000 objects, ranging from fossils, minerals, plants and eggs to invertebrates, vertebrates, shells (molluscs) and taxidermy, as well as preserved ‘spirit’ animals and rare specimens from across the globe, Wollaton is the largest dedicated Natural History museum in the county.
 

Elvaston Castle County Park

Located in Derbyshire, Elvaston Castle Country Park encompasses approximately 321 acres of open parkland, woodland and more formal historical gardens. The gardens are locally renowned for their rockwork structures and fine examples of topiary, originally introduced and designed by William Barron in the 19th century. Whatever the season there's always lots to see and do in and around the park - walking, cycling, horse riding, bird watching, picnicking, kite flying, photography, exploring the park and nature reserve and much more.
 

Attenborough Nature Reserve

Attenborough Nature Reserve was established in 1966 and opened by Sir David Attenborough, the reserve is best known for its birds. The area is an important site for winter wildfowl and often holds a high proportion of the county's shoveler and diving ducks, with larger numbers of mallard, teal, and occasionally wigeon.
